Spring Plastic Surgery Miami

Who will have access to my medical records?

Under Florida law, your medical records are confidential. Only authorized personnel, such as your healthcare providers involved in your care, will have access to your records. You may also authorize specific individuals to access your medical records by providing written consent. Without your explicit permission, no third party will be allowed access, except as required by law (such as in cases of subpoenas or regulatory requirements).

Can I keep my surgery private?

Yes, in Florida, patients have the right to privacy regarding their medical procedures. You may request that your treatment be handled discreetly, and we will ensure that your personal and medical information is kept confidential as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). However, certain details may need to be shared with insurance companies or other entities directly involved in your care, but only with your consent.

Will my medical information be shared with third parties?

No, your medical history will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent. We adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations, which protect your health information from being shared without your appro-val. The only excep-tions are when disclosure is required by law, such as to comply with legal inves-tigations or public health reporting.

Cost Discrepancies

Please be aware that the prices we quote are based on an initial medical assessment. These prices may change due to unfore-seen medical conditions or additional factors that could increase surgical complexity or render the operation inadvisable. In such cases, the final cost will be discussed with you before proceeding.

Important Note for Patients
